Can you have too much of a good thing? Chef Callum thinks not that's why he has created this tasting menu. Six courses designed to do what tasting menu do. Give you a taste of things to come.

Vulscombe goats cheese beignets

red onion marmalade, radish and apple garnish


Domaine Dupré Mâcon-Villages / France

very fresh, with citrus and white flowers on the nose. Light on the

palate with plenty of ripe apple flavours and fresh acidity.




Confit duck rillette 

cured duck ham, Dijon and truffle emulsion, croustade


Vega Badenes Tempranillo / Spain

a blend of Tempranillo, Merlot & Syrah, the aromas are bright and fruity, the palate soft, with

light unobtrusive tannins. It lasts well in the finish and leaves a pleasant, fruity aftertaste




Pan-fried fillet of Brixham gurnard

 squid ink linguine, shellfish bisque, salmon caviar


Domaine De Luc Chardonnay (Organic) / France

the nose is lightly toasted revealing aromas of cinnamon. On the palate the wine is balanced, bold and full-bodied with notes of white flowers and citrus. The long finish ends with notes of brioche.




New season Devon lamb

haricot blanc and thyme purée, minted peas, butter roasted sweetbreads, red wine jus


Holmes Point Pinot Noir 2018 / New Zealand

powerful and jammy with refreshing acidity the palate is redolent of raspberries,

strawberries, cherries, watermelon and blackberries laced with vanilla.




Selection of West Country cheeses

paired with Devon honeycomb, Muscat of Alexandria grapes, hazelnut fig toasts


Trevibban Mill Apple Dessert Wine / Cornwall

fresh, crisp Granny Smith apple nose with an explosion of sweet orchard fruits on the palate.

Merry sherry trifle

vanilla créme patisserie, dehydrated strawberries, pink champagne sorbet

Chateau Routas Rosé, Coteaux Varois en Provence / France

freshly cut watermelon, ripe peach aromas and floral notes lead to a palate alive with

wild strawberries and hints of mineral notes. Crisp acidity and a refreshing finish.
